About the event
Event Information: To secure your room contact Black Gold Motel on (02) 6355 7305 and be sure to mention that you're with the Camaro Firebird Owners Club of Australia group. You will also need to book your seats for our Christmas in July Dinner (Drinks in the Bar from 5.30pm and seated for Dinner at 6.00pm) and Sunday Breakfast (if required). Please note: Christmas Fancy Dress for Dinner is encouraged!
1st Meeting Point: Glenbrook Visitor Information Centre, Lot 2772 Hammet Place, Glenbrook at 8.30am for 9.00am departure.Â
2nd Meeting Point: The Lolly Bug, 2297 Great Western Highway, Little Hartley at 10.00am for 10.30am departure.
Directions from The Lolly Bug to Portland: Continue west along the Great Western Highway for 23.2kms then take the Mudgee Gulgong exit onto the Castlereagh Highway. Travel for 13.4kms and take left into Boulder Road. In 2.7kms turn left into Rowsell Street and then right onto Thompson Street, left onto Railway Avenue and then right onto Williwa Street where the Foundations will be on the right hand side. Enter into the carpar near the silos where we will park the cars together for a photo opportunity. Details about a guided tour of the Foundations will be available on the day. Following the tour we will regroup and travel west along Williwa Street, left into Lett Street and left into Vale Street for street parking near the RSL which is on the corner of Wolgan Street. Please note there is a excessive speed hump in Wolgan Street that we are avoiding. Enjoy lunch in the Poppies Bistro on the first floor.
Directions from Portland to Wallerawang: After lunch, turn right into Wolgan Street and then left into Wallerawang Road, which changes to Pipers Flat Road, continue on for 9.8kms and then veer left into Main Street  and in 1.3km turn right into Black Gold Motel.Â

Directions Home:Â Your free to chose your own way home, such as to Sydney via Bells Line of Road or via the Great Western Highway, stopping off at local attractions (examples include, and may require bookings, Jannei Goat Dairy at Lisdale, Zig Zag Railway at Clarence, Hillbilly Cider at Bilpin, or perhaps one of the many locations throughout the Blue Mountains).
